I am going to cry.
After a full weekend of color correcting our trailer, I shot off a DVD with which to showcase my accomplishments, got home, popped it in my player to show off to roommate Maddie, and -- holy crap -- it's just about the ugliest thing I've ever seen. Every single shot is appalling! heartbreaking! disgusting! Babypoop green and orange, and overexposed beyond belief. Honestly looks like the whole movie is copied off a pirated VHS.
On the plus side, it's consistently disgusting, so after finding a new monitor (seriously: holy crap), one should be able to apply a universal adjustment (Filters->Video Filters->Color Correction->Not Green And Not Overexposed Beyond Belief).
Nevertheless, a wasted weekend. This hurts.
